Drs. Steele and Knuffman are the founders of zeroK and the inventors of the LoTIS technology. They are the authors of more than twenty scientific publications and are the inventors of two pending and two issued patents. The founders have an interdisciplinary expertise in atomic physics, laser cooling, and charged particle optics, the fields which together enable the performance of zeroK's LoTIS. The founders are also graduates of the INNoVATE program at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. They have a keen knowledge of the industry and a growing list of contacts which will enable the assembly of the right team to execute the Company's development and commercialization plans.
